The Imposing Fortress

Palamidi Fortress, perched atop a rocky hill overlooking Nafplio, offers panoramic views of the town and sea. Built in 1711 and finished in 1714, its impressive bastions and Venetian architecture make it a must-visit landmark in the historical town of Nafplion. Visitors can take thee 999 steps to the top or access it by car, going around the hill.
